Login to GoTyme

A GoTyme Bank personal account is managed mainly through the GoTyme Bank app and supported by GoTyme kiosks. It is a digital banking profile for opening and using a current account, managing cards, checking balances, getting statements, using GoalSave and accessing other GoTyme services.

How to register?

To open a GoTyme Bank account:

• Download the GoTyme Bank app.
• Use a South African ID number.
• Use an active South African cellphone number.
• Complete the account-opening steps in the app.
• Verify your identity, including selfie-based biometric verification.
• Set up your login details.
• Collect a debit card from a GoTyme Bank kiosk if you need a physical card.

The minimum age for opening a GoTyme Bank account is 16 years. The account can be opened in the app, and the official registration page says there is no monthly account fee.

How to Log In?

To log in:

• Open the GoTyme Bank app.
• Enter the required login PIN or approved app credentials.
• Complete any security check if requested.
• Access the account dashboard.

GoTyme also supports account services through kiosks. For some actions, such as PIN resets, customers can use either the app or a kiosk.

Personal account features

In the GoTyme Bank app, customers can:

• check their account balance;
• get a bank statement or proof of account;
• update personal information such as mobile number or email;
• manage physical and virtual cards;
• reset card PINs;
• use GoalSave;
• make payments and transfers;
• use Send Money Vouchers;
• apply for selected credit products if eligible;
• track a GoTyme personal loan in the app.

The FAQ page explains that statements and proof of account are available from the app menu and are sent to the customer’s email address within minutes. GoTyme’s personal-loan page also states that loan repayments can be tracked in the app.

How to reset a password?

GoTyme Bank generally uses a login PIN rather than a standard website password. To reset the login PIN:

• Open the GoTyme Bank app or use a GoTyme kiosk.
• Select Forgot login PIN.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.
• Complete the identity and security checks.
• Create a new login PIN.

How to delete an account?

The checked GoTyme pages do not publish a simple “delete account” button or a full public step-by-step closure flow. For account closure, profile deactivation or deletion of online banking access, the customer should contact GoTyme Bank Customer Care through an official channel.

GoTyme lists these support options:

• +27 11 327 6244 — international customer care;
• service@gotyme.co.za;
• in-app chat.

If the request is related to fraud or compromised access, GoTyme instructs customers to contact 0860 999 119 immediately to block the bank account, card or banking profile, and to change the PIN in the app if the PIN may have been shared.
